Elite Technology Group
In 2008, with the increase in crime in the Memphis area, we have returned to Lenoir City and felt the need for affordable and professional technical solutions without the high-priced fees of large technology stores. We started Lenoir City Computers and soon expanded to Loudon, West Knoxville, and Farragut. From these, we became Elite Technology Group. Michael Phillips, MCP, MCSE, CompTia A+, IBM Certified Specialist
System Analyst and Co-Owner

I was born and raised in Loudon County. Being interested in computers, I got my first computer, a Commodore 16 and the early 1980's. I graduated from Lenoir City High School in 1989 and then attended Bryan College studying Psychology and Bible. Having always been interested in technology, I refocused on home computers, hardware, and software. In 1993, I joined the TN Air National Guard (134th ARW) and trained as a Maintenance Data Analyst.
I took my first technical job doing medical image printing and I began learning the new technologies of Microsoft networking (NT). After four years, I took a full time position doing network domain installations across the country utilizing the latest networking technologies. During this time, I obtained my MCP and MCSE certifications from Microsoft as well as my CompTIA A+ certification. In 1999, I moved to Memphis, TN as manager of a technical support call center and soon advanced into the SAP Basis Manager position providing technical support and solutions for SAP ERP systems, IBM AIX, and Oracle databases. While in Memphis, I expanded my knowledge with Microsoft products to include all Microsoft Operating Systems, Windows Servers, Exchange Server, SQL Server, and Microsoft Office as well as non-Microsoft products such as Oracle databases, UNIX/AIX, Linux, and MAC OSX.
My areas of expertise include Microsoft, Linux, and MAC operating systems, hardware diagnostics, server and enterprise domain configuration, networking, security, disaster recovery, and web configuration.
I also serve as the Director of Information Technology for a Knoxville-based bank and mortgage company and volunteer as the leader for Wolf Scouts for Cub Scout Pack 770 in Lenoir City.
